In a recent post, accomplished Medium writer and editor-for-hire Roz Warren shared the idea of describing oneself to readers using an alphabetic framework:

So because I am always short on novel ideas, I am following her lead! And trying my best to do this stream of consciousness, selecting the first word that pops into my mind for each letter. Let’s see what happens!

A is for ambiguity. I abhor “black and white”, binary analysis. For me, the interesting stuff is invariably in the grey areas.

B is for balance. I’m always trying to find the equilibrium between noise and quiet, work and relaxation, wakefulness and sleep. A work in progress.

C is for corkscrews, of course. I’ve collected them for about 30 years now, and have about 425 specimens.
