I never appreciated how much growing my own food contributes to my mental health, until COVID-19 changed everything.

Being a farmers’ daughter has always been a mixed blessing for me, given adult preferences for cities and intellectual pursuits over the countryside and physical activity. But apparently you can’t take the farm…
